Anyone can learn CPR – and everyone should! Sadly, 70 percent of Americans may feel helpless to act during a cardiac emergency because they either do not know how to administer CPR or their training has significantly lapsed. This alarming statistic could hit close to home, because home is exactly where 88 percent of cardiac arrests occur. Put very simply: The life you save with CPR is mostly likely to be someone you love.          

You may register on-line and then send in cash or check made payable to Stephens Elementary PTA. Please place in an envelope marked - Stephens Elementary PTA - CPR Class. You may also pay on-line by credit card, but you will be charged a credit card processing fee. You may also pay at the door, but please register online so we know how many people to expect.

Course Description
The Heartsaver CPR Course is a course that teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, child and infant victims. Students also learn to recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children. AEDs will also be discussed.

Card Type: Course completion card which will be good for two years.

Cost: $12 for members & $17 for new members (new members must fill out a membership form), $20 for non-members & public

Teacher: Lead by PTA & Strong Father member – Chris Schroder, trained EMT-P
